Perfect if you are feeling sore and tense. Deep Tissue doesn’t mean it is going to hurt, but some areas may be tender.
One of the most well-known remedial massages in the massage profession. Performed by a trained therapist to return the body to normal health after injury. Excellent for treating chronic muscular imbalances, strains and sprains. Tui Na uses pressure and stretching to trigger switches in the body along nerve pathways to open up energy flow.

Prenatal and Postnatal (Postpartum) Massage can provide you with significant health benefits. Postnatal massage is as important and beneficial as prenatal massage is. Balinese massage is a full body massage, deep tissue and holistic treatment encompassing a combination of gentle strokes, acupressure, reflexology, and aromatherapy to stimulate the flow of blood, oxygen and “qi” (energy) around the body. Balinese massage brings a sense of well being, calm and deep relaxation. By combining multiple modalities and the benefits of aromatherapy, your entire body benefits. Joints are flexed and stretches throughout the treatment whilst all your muscles are lengthened and taken through their ranges. Balinese massage can be a good choice if you are feeling stressed, tense and want a good unwind. Recommended as a 90 minute massage to encompass the whole body and have enough time to work through your problem areas.
Similar to a Swedish (Relaxation) massage, Californian massage involves long graceful strokes, elongating the body, coupled with vigorous muscle manipulations to stimulate blood flow into blocked, tight muscles. Essential Oils are also used to warm up the body, muscles and stimulate blood flow. A Californian massage is a thorough massage treatment and generally either 90 minutes or 2 hours is advised for the entire procedure to be completed, providing you with the most benefit. Our Californian trained massage therapists really work hard during these treatments so you reap the rewards.

Myotherapy is a comprehensive treatment performed by our Myotherapist. Myotherapy encompasses the muscles, skeletal structure, nervous system and joints in a an evidence based assessment, treatment and rehabilitation procedure to effect your rehabilitation of muscular skeletal pain and associated conditions. Unlike your standard Remedial Massage, Myotherapists may incorporate massage into their treatments when warranted, however we call on a wide range of evidence based treatment approaches and skill sets which in addition to manual therapy, dry needling, electro-therapeutic techniques, shock wave therapy, also prescribe exercises to aid your recovery and rehabilitation.

Remedial Massage therapists treat muscles that are damaged, knotted, tense or immobile. Generally if you have a problem with a muscle, tendon or bone then we will aim to locate and repair damaged areas of the body and speed up recovery times. Remedial massage also uses knowledge based practices to identify radiated pain and referred pain to tackle the cause and the symptom. A Remedial Massage consists of a pre-assessment to determine the causes of the problem and effectively provide you a result at the end of the treatment.

Typically a Sports Massage focuses on repairing damaged muscles caused by a sporting injury. Specific pre-assessment tests are carried out to determine the extent of the injury and underpin the direction of your treatment. Sports Massages incorporate a blend of swedish, deep tissue, stretching and trigger point therapy to address common sporting injuries. your therapist will aim to improve ROM – Range of Motion in the affected areas whilst also addressing locked fascia joints and reducing myofascial tension. Often we will also address attachment and insertion points of muscles to restore manoeuvrability and muscle strength.

Sports Cupping with Massage is a targeted approach to addressing significant muscle tension. Massage reduces the tightness of superficial muscles whilst the cupping targets muscle attachments and aids the therapist in stretching the muscle conduit and releasing attachments. somewhat painful at times, sports cupping is a specialised treatment performed by our qualified sports therapists. We also provide traditional cupping to assist with drawing out deep tension and loosening superficial muscle bands that provide structure to the body.
Most people think reflexology is just for the foot, however it goes much further than that. The practice of reflexology goes much deeper than the skin and muscles. By targeting specific reflex points on the feet we are able to induce a healing response in corresponding organs and areas of the body. Reflexology apparatus (tools/wands) are also used to effect the trigger points. Reflexology can assist with headaches, stomach problems, and overall general organ weakness. We have two treatment rooms dedicated to couples massage, both with two treatment tables. We do a lot of couples massages in these rooms, but don’t think you have to have the same room, many couples prefer a separate room. Add a Mineral Spa before your massage in our deluxe twin spa and melt away any stress and muscle aches before your massage. You will feel so good for having a mineral spa. A twin mineral spa treatment consists of a 30 minute soak in our jet spa and only costs $60.
Hot Rocks, Basalt Stone or Volcanic Stone, or more traditionally Hot Stone Massage has been around for many years. Volcanic Basalt Stones are warmed to 50 degrees and then applied throughout the massage, both stationary and during the massage strokes to melt away muscle tension. Hot Stone Massage is a super relaxing massage treatment to have. We recommend the 90 minute treatment for the ultimate experience. Add this one to your bucket list.
